David Welsh Is The March Susan Barga/Personnelplus Employee Of The Month
David Welsh was selected as Employee of the Month for March.
David was an employee of Kroger’s in Athens when he passed away this last November. David enjoyed more than six years with the Kroger Company and was very proud to be a Kroger Employee.
David was a huge part of PersonnelPlus and was in many ways a pioneer in supported employment. During David’s career, he worked with Pro-Mow and Wendy’s in addition to Kroger. David served as an example to other individuals with disabilities that they too can be successful working in the community as he did.
Dave Shull and the Kroger employees always spoke highly of David and continue to do so. David could always be found keeping the Kroger store clean and taking pride in his work.
In David's honor a display case will be purchased that will house the achievements of workers with disabilities to not only honor those who have received these awards, but to inspire other people with disabilities to reach for their dreams, just as David did.
